Duet Photography question!!

My friend went to Duets and booked them for $5318 with video ...... Is that average price or too much?? I have a meeting with them onWednesday and now I am VERY nervous!!

I got a package with video and I am only paying $4500 after taxes from Duet.

We paid less then that and with is with overtime and video...I know their prices went up...but what is she getting with that? SHe might have upgraded their album or gotten parent albums??

I've seen girls get photo and video with Duet for cheaper, def 5K and under. You have to negotiate with them down to a low price and then get extras thrown in. I am using them for photo, not getting video.

Did you guys upgrade alot or is that with the standard and than a little extra?

I upgraded my album- but didnt pay for it...I ended up paying more because of overtime! I also didnt get parent albums

i didnt upgrade to anything it was ever was offered in the package but I talked him down like $500 bucks or so. It was over my budget but they are worth it because I want awesome picuteres and a great video.

Cause I really want them, the pictures they have are gorgeous but i cant spend over 4500

mine was 4,000 before taxes... i wouldn't pay over 4,500... but ur friend may be getting more hours or extra stuff... u can work them down

i did book in 2008...so keep that in mind

I'm paying around that ball park..and thats with many upgrades. depending on what you need the price can be a lot less

if i were you id go there and tell him what ur budget is, so he can offer you what you can get for under 4,500... im sure they will work with u

That seems a little high for them, but it really depends. We are paying 5200$ for everything, but we have two photogs and the videog for 12 hours each. Some are paying less but have both for 10 hrs. There are different variations and upgrades, etc.

They have tons of packages so it all depends on what extras she got. I don't remember how much I paid but I'm getting lots. Fm me with the extacts and I will look up my price when I get home. That sounds about right to me though
