i'm not sure either b/c my veil doesnt come with a blusher. i also dont know how it will look since my veil has crystals on the edges & the blusher is plain>

I am not going to wear my veil that way. I tried one on while I was trying on dresses and hated the feeling of it on my face. I want to be able to see everything clearly.

I just ordered my veil this weekend....no blusher. I wasn't even going to wear a veil to begin with but I got talked into it.

I had a blusher! I don't think it is dumb at all. I loved that my dad had to pull it over my head ad give me away!

No you do not have to have it over your face. I did, but my sil didn't and she got married in the same Church as me.

Yes I did and my photographer made me do it for a few pix as well. You really are supposed to, and the person giving you away is supposed to lift it up... Pix in Community album...........
ETA- I didn't keep it over my face the whole time. My father lifted it up right after he walked me down....
