I'm a 40C and for some reason, it's impossible for me to find that size in stores. Going down to a 38 is too tight, but I've been unsure about going up. What is the size I would look for if I were to go up a size...a 34 D? Please help!

Re: Dumb question about bra sizes...
If a 38 is to tight do not try a 34. I would try a 42C and fasten it with the tightest hooks. You are PG right, so they will probably be getting bigger... I would go up a size rather than down.

have you had someone at VS measure you?
That helped me out a lot - I was way off on my bra size for a while there...

ah, okay, I didn't even know there was a 42 C. That's helpful. Thank you.

No, but I guess that would be my best bet. Thanks!

If 38C is just a little to tight around but the cups fit, then you can buy extenders. They sell them at maternity stores, cheap alternative to keep the bras you have for now.

no problem :) But as Julie said, you might want to buy a bit bigger since you're pregnant

Re: Dumb question about bra sizes...
You can go up a band size and down a cup or vise versa and it will be comparable. So, if you are a 40C, then try a 42B or a 38D. If you just go up the band, the cup will get a little bit bigger and it will be too loose. For example, if you compare the cups of a 32A, and a 38A, there will be a big difference in the cup size even if they are both A's. Hope that helps. I used to work at Victoria's Secret.
