Ok, so you have your engagement ring...I assume you wear it on your wedding day but your Wedding Band is suppose to go on first right? So when you are at the alter are you just suppose to slide off your engagement ring at some point and then put it back on after FH gives you your ring??? At what point do you take it off??? I have never noticed a bride fumble or take her ring off so I guess it's sneaky???
I am going to have my mom hold it. Then after the ceremony I will find her and slip it on. I could always wear my e-ring and then switch the bands when the ceremony is over.

Wow..I never thought about that...I dont know if I could part from my e ring even for a short while ..I may put it on my right hand also..but if once comes to worse..it will go with my mom

before you leave for the church put it on your right hand. after the ceremony you can put it back on the left. your wedding band is closest to your heart, so that is on first, and then the e-ring

I think you are supposed to wear it on your right hand and then put it over the band once you are married.

the whole right hand thing sounds like a good idea, but my ering doesn't fit on my rt hand! i think it's a whole size bigger!

this is a really good question! never even thought about this! and fh wonders what we girls do all day long thinking about what to do for the wedding....
i like the right hand idea but my ering is actually i think too small for right hand... mmm... maybe this is a chance to get the diamond reset in a different band

Yeah mine is too small for my right hand??? I am also going to be wearing my mom's wedding band on my right hand .....Maybe FH can hold it? Or maybe my MOH since I really won't see FH before I get to the alter????
i plan on wearing my e-ring on the right hand and then switching it back to the lft after the cermony (when my wedding band is already on)

Wow, I never really thought about this...but b/c of this thread I just went to check if my e-ring fits on my right hand...it does! So I guess I'll wear it on my right hand until the ceremony is over

mine doesn't fit on my right hand either (right hand is slightly larger than the left). I think I'm just going to keep it on my left hand and put the wedding band on over it, and then switch them after the ceremony. I don't know if I'd be comfortable letting somebody hang onto it, no matter how trustworthy that somebody was. After all, accidents happen!

i have no idea what to do b/c i'm one of the lucky ones whose ring does not fit on her right hand--
and i don't want to have someone hold onto it b/c i can't imagine walking down the aisle w/o my e-ring on...
