Re: dyeable shoes
ive heard stories about the dye coming off when they get wet. not sure if this always happens, or if its a rare thing. my girls are wearing silver shoes so hopefully we wont have that problem. maybe ask the shoe place for a dyed sample and then you can wet it and see?

Re: dyeable shoes
I have been in numerous weddings with numerous dyed shoes....silver, red, emerald green. The dye never came off for me. Good Luck!

Re: dyeable shoes
i remember i had my shoes dyed for my prom (navy) and at the end of the night there were a few tiny lighter spots, which i think were from walking in the wet grass, nothing major. all my girls had their shoes dyed and no one had any problems. most of them went to payless. hth

Re: dyeable shoes
I had my BM shoes dyed champagne for my brother's wedding. By the end of the night they were streaky. (sp?) The dye came off in some spots and they looked horrible, so after the wedding I went back and had them dyed black so I could wear them again and they came out ok.
