hi ,

for those of you having a e party... Do you plan om buying your FH a gift ?
Just wondering , I wasnt aware of that & now im wondering if I should?

I bought FH a diamond bezel Breitling. Definitely the best thing I've spent my money on... so far. He smiles everytime he looks at it. It's the craziest thing I have ever seen. :)

The Breitling is what I have my hopes up for.

I got FH Tiffany's cufflinks that he wore to the e-party and will wear on our wedding day!

It is customary in my family's tradition for the engaged girl to buy her FH an engagement gift. The custom is to buy a ring, and if Fh doesn't want a ring - then whatever he wishes (my brother got a Rolex instead of a ring when he got engaged)
Abt 2 months after we got engaged (right before Xmas) I bought FH a ring. I took him to a train show and then for dinner in Manhattan - and I put the ring in a Dove's chocolate covered almond box (with the choc on top) and after we ate - I handed it to him ... it was cute. I bought him a white gold ring - and the sides is two-tone (shiny and matte) and it just has a center stone round diamond in a high setting.

I didn't get him anything, I just felt like it was unnecessary! JMO

i agree -

i was going to buy FH an E-present, but we are saving for a house and figured the money would be best spent there

i did plan on getting him a Breitling for his bday but then he went out and bought a 27inch plasma for our bedroom and i was like screw that! so that was his gift!
