E-Party Apparel Ideas

My fiance doesn't know what to wear to our E-party. I am wearing this dress by Victoria's Secret:

Unless I find something I like better (I really wanted to wear white, cream, or pale yellow, but was having a hard time finding this style dress in those colors.)

Our E-Party is at Timberpoint Country Club on 7/27 from 3-7.

What should FH wear? He thought a suit, but I think that he will be too hot and uncomfortable in late July Wearing a suit.

What have your FH or DH worn to your E-parties, what does he plan on wearing, or what have you seen others wear?

how about just dress pants and shirt - no need fora tie and jacket for an afternoon party.

I was thinking the same about a nice shirt and pants. I love this dress, I just hope it looks as nice on!

FH wore a suit b/c our eparty was at night. His tie matched the color of my dress. We knew many of our guests would show up wearing the same.
How about a shirt and tie and no jacket for your FH.

I wore a knee-length ivory dress with spaghetti straps and a gardenia (fake) in my hair.. it was simple but elegant.. FH wore a suit and tie.. =)

i wore a floral dress from Ann Taylor Loft and he wore a shirt and pants - no big deal. But then again, it was in my backyard so it was a different situation I guess.
