So i am having a cocktail party for my e-party and have been going back and forth on what i wanted to give out as favors. My most recent idea is giving out 16oz. cocktail shakers because it goes with the cocktail party theme...what do you guys think? good or bad idea?

That's great! How many people are you planning to have? The only thing I think would be it could be pretty expensive.
