Re: E party invites??
You do not put registry info on ANY invite. What you should do is make a wedding website. Include registry info on that. Then, in your invite, include an insert referring people to your website for more info about the wedding adn wedding events. If they are smart, they will figure out that your registry is on there. It accomplishes the same thing as including registry info without being presumptuous and rude.

Well I think the point of the inserts is to use in an invite. The problem is if you would rather people giv eyou cash you may want to wait and use the inserts for the bridal shower. Most people i know did that.

I think it's a bit tacky to put in the invite, as you technically arent suppossed to expect gifts. Of course people give them...but it's not like a shower where it's expected. My mom didnt include...but if people ask...she lets them know.

Re: E party invites??
it is not mandatory to give a gift at an engagement party. personally, i would not include registry information in the engagement party invitation.

i disagree....registry info should be included in your shower invite, bc then it is assumed that you will be recieving a gift...
for the eparty, i would say negative...people will certainly ask if they are planning on getting a gift...but chances are they will give you money, that is what 85% of our guests did, which was a great surprise and very appreciated
