Can anyone suggest a nice decently priced place to have our engagement party? Nothing too crazy.. We are looking in Queens, Nassau area and it would probably be for a lunch.

we had ours at the American Legion Hall on Willis Ave in Williston Park and we had it Catered by Dominicks Italian Deli on Herricks Road... IT WAS PERFECT - The place has been redone recently (newly painted and new lighting fixtures) Very Nice for a Hall.....
It was $15pp soda beer & wine - no room fee or $17 pp Open Bar - no room fee
we had about 100 ppl and TOTAL for EVERYTHING (hall food dj favors centerpieces invitations table cloths place cards etc) it cost us abt 4500

Just had mine at Carosello Resturant on Crossybay Blvd Last night. It was amazing.
Food was amazing and they have different rooms for different size parties.

Carosello is good... across from Russo's... owned by Mr. Russo I was told (?).. never been there for a party but the food was good when we went for lunch.

Pompeii Restaurant in West Hempstead. Went to a shower there last Sunday. The food was very good and they have different rooms to cater to the size of guests.
