Maxine, That is soo funny! I never heard of it it either until my mom said, lets see how many presents you'll get and I thought, presents???? I only got 3 presents, but made a lot of $$$, thank god. It's in the wedding fund, of course :)

I'd probably give a gift - unless the couple has been living together for a while and didn't really NEED anything off a registry - then probably $50 to $100 (depending on how close I am to the couple and where the E-party is held)

I have never heard of giving money as a gift for an engagement party either. We received a lot of gifts and gift cards at our e-party. But I would give what you can afford.
