E-Pics: Planting Fields or Old Westbury Gardens?

FH and I are trying to figure out where we should go for our engagement pictures. We narrowed it down to the Planting Fields in Oyster Bay and Old Westbury Gardens. Has anyone ever been to either or both places? Which do you recommend for engagement pictures and why? Anything I should know about either place?

I'm going to do mine at old westbury gardens It's beautiful,has LI history and has enormous gardens there's so many different sections to take pictures there lol i go there every year to just walk around. you can tour the house too! ... as for the other place I've never been there sorry hope this helps a little

I LOVE Planting Fields. I don't live near it anymore, but FH and I used to like going there. We'd bring a picnic lunch and then walk around the grounds all afternoon. It's so pretty there!

They're both so beautiful. We went with Planting Fields for wedding pictures because OWG had an event so I'm slightly biased. They're both gorgeous though so you can't go wrong either way!!

We are going to OWG. It is beautiful!! They also filmed Cruel Intentions there and we love that movie. My cousin did her wedding pics there and it was awesome!

We were going to take ours at Old Westbury Gardens but we found out you had to pay!! We were like forget that since there are so many other gorgeous FREE spots to take photos. We decided on Argyle Park in Babylon. Was beautiful!

We chose to have our wedding pics at OWG because I needed a backup in case it rains! Both places are beautiful. You won't go wrong with either choice!
