Ok Ladies.... I had originally wanted to take our e-shoot in the fall at OWG. The reason for that was because I wanted a nice fall picture for our STD's being that we are doing a fall theme and we are getting married in the Fall. FH and I were talking about taking pictures in the city or in brooklyn by the bridge or something other then the Fall because our engagement pics when he proposed are all in the fall and our wedding pics will be all fall senery. Should we try something different for a change? Beach, City something other then the Fall? If we do something different and send out a non Fall related pic on our STD's will it look weird being that its a Fall wedding? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tough one. but i personally think you should do something other than the fall just so you can get in pics from a different season. I'm trying to think about what I would want to see (big picture) and I don't think I would want ALL my pics to be the same theme. JMO. Either way, you'll be fine. good luck!

I'm doing mine in the summer @ the beach because I'm doing the beach theme wedding ...
But I was thinking of doing them at the park or something instead since the beach is so typical... but I don't know!!

it is a really ahrd desicion. I am the most undesisve person there is. i ahve changed my mind so many times with this wedding it is unbelievable. so at this point my STD's dont even mathc my theme any more. so many desicions. but you will mak the right one

I am actually doing my e-pics in two weeks. When we got engaged in Niagara Falls, we had one of my BM's (who met up with us a few days later) take some pics of us at the Falls. We used one of those for our STD.
Now that we're going for our E-pics, I really want something different. For example, since we both wore jeans and black tops for our pics in Niagara, we're not doing jeans this time around. I personally would like to look at the pics and see that they are different occassions - our engagement, our e-pics during our engagement, and later our wedding pics. So I voted for taking them in a different season than fall.
If you really wanted to stick to your fall theme, you could always take them this fall but do different level of dressiness than your first set of pics. But I would still try to do them at another time to get a totally different look. HTH!

I say do them in another season. My Save the Dates are not theme related but instead are my colors.

Personally I think that you should do something different. You'll have wedding pics with a fall them and for e-pics maybe do something completely different so they wont be that similar.

The STD does not have to match your wedding theme! Personally I am waiting for the fall to do mine but that's because it's my favorite season anyway and we will probably go into the city. I gotta have the city be part of my wedding somewhere! Anyway you can still send out beautiful STDs without the fall theme but I love the idea.
As far as location, if you are considering OWG for a picture location on the wedding day I would personally consider a different location for e-pics. Gotta have variety.

I think you should do something different also. My wedding is in the spring but FH and I decided to have our e-pics taken in the fall. Either way your pictures will come out beautiful regardless of when you take it.

I knew I wanted my wedding in the October with the leaves changing colors. So I waited until I was happy with the foliage colors and it happened to be right before halloween. HTH.

I'm doing the opposite for my e-pics. I'm getting married in the winter...but i wanted pretty, sunny, not-freezing cold outdoor pics...so i'm doing my e-pics in the spring/summer so i have a little of both!

i dont think it will look weird if the pics are non fall related on your STDs. FH and i did ours in the winter in snow (b/c we got engaged in winter) but our wedding is in the spring. i think if you are having a lot of pics taken in the fall already that it might be nice to switch it up a bit. i always thought it would be cool to do city or skyline shots personally so i would recommend that. beach shots are really nice too! i would pick whatever idea seems more appropriate for you and FH.

I think you should stick with the theme and take the engagement pics in the fall at a place where there are a lot of trees (fall scenery)

I don't really think it matters, just as long as you and your FH are happy about the pics and scenery. I voted for Fall just because you said that was your theme, but I think the pics will be beautiful, regardless of the scenery!
