I had the same problem. It sounds like my ring is set similar to yours. I went to Elsa in Farmingdale and had a custom ring made.

It sounds like your ring is beautiful and very detailed in the design. I have a radiant cut with a diamond band and a halo diamond around it. I wouldnt put a weddding band on the same finger because it will no doubt take away from the engagement ring. There will be too much going on on that finger. So, Im going to get a radiant wedding band to wear on the other hand.
