E-RIng day of the wedding
Do you have to switch your engagement ring to your right hand on the day of your wedding so that there is no trouble at the ceremony putting your wedding band on? Mine is too big for my right hand!! I am afraid it might fall off or keep twisting around to the back of my hand.

Re: E-RIng day of the wedding
normally you would put it in the right hand, but you can also have maid of honor or someone you trust hold it for you during the ceremony and after the ring exchange you can put it on. Only if you trust that person. Hope this helpsor you can leave it in a box and have the best man hold it for you till after the ceremony

Re: E-RIng day of the wedding
I'm going to try to switch it, but its a bit snug for my right hand. I'm only going to wear it that way for the ceremony.

Re: E-RIng day of the wedding
I think you're supposted to but I forgot and didn't switch the ring at all. In fact I wore another ring on my other hand so I couldn't switch. When I got in the limo, I just switched the wedding band and engagement ring and got to FINALLY see what my husband had engraved in it.

Yes, I'm going to weat my e-ring on my right hand during the ceremony. Afterwards, I will switch it to the left hand.On my right pinky, I will have my grandmother's wedding band. I just hope I don't look like Mr. T.

Re: E-RIng day of the wedding
I totally forgot to switch my e-ring to my right hand, but it was not a problem at all. When the minister asked for the rings, she had me give my e-ring to her too. She blessed all three rings and after my DH put my wedding band on, she gave me my e-ring to put on. It worked out very well.

I'm going to wear my E-ring on my right hand and once FH puts the band on then I'll move it from my right to left.

Re: E-RIng day of the wedding
I KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE THAT LEFT THEIR ENGAGEMENT RINGS ON THE WEDDING BAND FINGER. DURING THE CEROMONY THE FH OR HUSBAND AT THAT POINT PUTS THE WEDDING BAND IN FRONT OF THE ENGAGEMENT RING THEN WHEN THE PREIST ANNOUNCES THEY ARE MARRIED THE BRIDE REVERSES THE RING. (SO THE ITS THE WEDDING BAND THE THE E-RING. ALTHOUGHT I HAVE SEEN SOME BRIDES PUT THEIR E-RING ON THE OPPOSITE HAND ALL NIGHT. I GUESS IT IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE UNLESS SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS THE TRUE WAY TO DO IT.

Re: E-RIng day of the wedding
I put mine on the left hand because i had an insert. I honestly don't think it would be a big deal. I have seen many brides had them on their left hand the day of the wedding.

Re: E-RIng day of the wedding
I wore mine and when it came time to do wedding rings the Reverend held my e-ring then once my wedding band was on I put my e-ring back on.Worked out fine for me.

Re: E-RIng day of the wedding
I tell you I am learning so much from you guys.I had no idea that you had to place the e-ring on the other hand. I was just going to wear it to the church on my left hand...and then I wasn't sure what to do next.
I will problably just wear it on my right hand.
Thanks Guys
