i think that this was a post in the past but FH and i had an argument over this a while ago & i was wondering eveyones opinion. so when i first got engaged a friend who lives in New Jersey wanted me to post a picture of my e-ring on myspace. i said no because alot of people stalk others on myspace & I don't want complete strangers seeing my ring. Then she asked me to e-mail it to her & i said no because she is the type of person who would start showing it to people who i don't want to know my business. i got really annoyed at her because if she was a really good friend, like she says she is, she should of made plans with me if she wants to see my ring so bad. well FH over heard the conversation and started saying that there is no reason you should take a picture specifically of your ring. i think he over reacted. so how do you think your FH would feel about you taking a picture specifically of your ring???

my FH took a picture of my ring on my hand for me...so he's ok with it. he loves my ring and thinks its beautiful and loves when people want to see it. i took a few extra pics of it as well....he doesnt mind at all

FH is fine with me taking pictures of MY ring, but if you feel weird about it, then use the image from the website. Heck, they can't take it off my finger... which is where it is all the time.

he doesnt really mind it. He just calls me weird for taking pictures of it and then leaves me alone. He is proud that I show it off to anyone who will look, its like a compliment to him...that i like the ring so much I have to show it to everyone...

I have no issues taking pics of my ring and showing it to people and FH doesnt mind either. I dont think there is any harm in it.

I dont think theres anything wrong with it....I mean, what if you want to show it to someone that you havent seen? And, if you put in on myspace, keep ur profile private so only your friends can see it.

Isn't the person you want to show it to a friend? If she's a really good friend she's not going to post it all over the internet...
My advice: Just tell her you don't have any pictures of it and move on. You CLEARLY don't want to show her a picture of the ring, so don't.

My fh started taking pics of the ring when we got engaged and my nails were unmanicured lol He has no problems with it cause he's happy to show it off. Everyone is different and maybe fh is just worried about stalkers, etc. When you see your friend in person then show her the ring.,,, maybe tell her you rather her see it in person

Whats the big deal? Its your ring, you should be showing it off to everyone. FH was so proud of himself that he bought this ring, he shows it off all the time. I don't really see the problem. I have a pic of mine in my albums.

my fh is the same way. he loves that he picked out my ring and he love showing it off. when we are outside and the sun hits it he always makes comments on how much it sparkles. i take pictures of it all the time and we are proud to show it off. it wouldnt be a big deal to me if a friend showed it to strangers or enemies, let them see it and be jealous! haha
how close is this friend to you? maybe if you really want to show her, take a picture of it with your phone and text it to her. those pictures arent that clear
