Re: e-ring question...
that is pretty rude, I get asked this alot. All of my FH's co-workers always ask him how much he spent, and I don't get where people learned there manners. I mean I don't mind telling them the carat if they really want to know, but the price is truthfully nobodys business so I totally agree with you!

Re: e-ring question...
That is extremely rude that your supervisor asked you that. Maybe he/she is just one of those people who have no social skills and doesnt realize whats appropriate and what isnt! I think thats only ok to ask if its a really close friend or family member, and even then you have to be careful. Its just one of those things ya know?

I know thats sooo annoying and very rude. I would never ask how many carats someone elses ring is or how much did it cost, so dont ask me that

Re: e-ring question...
That is a rude question, but I always try to figure out a person's motive for asking the questions they ask. Is it possible that he is considering getting engaged and doesn't have any sort of clue as to what size diamond he thinks he should be looking for or something? I'm not saying this would excuse his rudeness, but maybe there is an explantation for it?
