East Wind??

We are getting married there in September. I have heard nothing but good stuff about them from family and friends who have been there. The chef is from Harrison House so he is a good one and the place is so lovely!! My mother used to work in the catering business (flowerfield, harrison house) so she is very particular about the food everywhere we go and she liked it so we went along with her (what do I know?) hehe. Again, I have only heard one bad thing about it and it was on this website but for one bad, I have heard at least 50 good things... Really! Go for a tasting before you book if you like! Good luck!!

East Wind??

Just went to an Interfaith wedding this weekend at Eastwind. It was awesome. Firstly, it was on Friday night. The ceremony had a rabbi and minister who were awesome. Apparantly, there is a rabbi who works with couples and will come on a Friday night. I got his card, and will be using him myself. The cocktail hour and reception were done beautifully as well. The food was great. All in all - I can't see how you can go wrong here. Good luck.

I had my reception there last May

I had my reception there last May. It was beautiful.
I was in the Country Gardens up front. My cocktail hour
was outside. I don't have pictures of the food, only video.
The food was phenominal. All day. My cocktail hour was at 12pm outside
in the gardens; tons of food and then reception at 1pm. I had
a buffet since it was a day wedding and it was Memorial Day Weekend.
I didn't feel the need for sit down dinner and I probably saved 30 - 40 a
head with buffet. People loved the food. ALso, if you do buffet, you save
a lot and can add extras like the S.S.Eastwind Seafood Boat. We had passing
clams on the half shell. They'll do anything for you.

I was very happy with John my Maitre de'. He was at my side all day.
He even had a Drum Cake made for me as the grooms cake for my husband
(drummer). It was awesome.

You will be very happy there, especially on a beautiful day. I just
went to a wedding in January in the back estate house. Also gorgeous, but
the guarantee was too high for me. I had 112 or so folks.

GOOD LUCK.

Some pictures (2) of the gardens and room on my website. There is also a beautiful beach 5 minutes
down the road. Those picture you can see on here as well. Worth every minute to go down there.

Good luck with your wedding.
