Wedding is 7/1/06 at East Wind in the Estate

Looking for fabulous band, professional photographer and video...

Anyone else an East Wind Summer 2006 bride???????

We picked our menu and linens last night. Everything went smoothly. (We even tried to practice our first dance....we need a LOT more practice!)

We got to our appointment about 45 minutes early and had dinner at Desmond's. The food was great, and the servers were very polite and helpful!

We had shrimp at cocktail hr so didnt want to duplicate
Plus I think Salmon is more of a real fish entree choice than shrimp. I always think of shrimp as an appetizer.

Okay, I changed my entree from the Salmon to the Stuffed Shrimp. More family thought hat the shrimp was different. We are not having shrimp at the cocktail hour. Thanks for your help!!

doesnt it have a lobster sauce or stuffing...YUM! Thats why I chose it! : )

Hey EW brides! We went to the Estate yesterday to pick our menu, etc. and we saw the new gazebo they put up and the new waterfall - everything looks awesome!!!!

They have made a lot of changes there...the country gardens are beautiful! They took away the floral wallpaper and replaced it with a gorgeous ivory color and put in a huge window (like the one they have at the Estate). Very nice!

I just got married at the estate in Nov and it was beautiful! You are going to feel like a princess with everything they do for you. I used Duets as mt photographer and they were great! I juts picked up my proofs last night d/t lack of $$ But they were ready in about 4 wks after the wedding.I had Jay as my Photographer.

We just got a call to schedule our menu appt, so I can't wait to see the new enhancements!!!

Did anyone find that they were negotiable on menu enhancements?

Where is kaklesmay? I haven't seen her since her wedding?

yup, but it think it depnds if you make your minimum or not.

WHere my girls at?? Any new news?? Final payment is due 5/11 and we are over our minimum by a few people. Its okay though! 30 days for me!!!

Im here, Im here!

Everything was amazing! I just got my proofs but I need to scan them so I can post some here and also write my review. My room looked great and they let me take all my pics in the NHampton room while the other party was going on that day.

My cake looked really good and I didnt upgrade it or anything so dont worry about that.

We had the ceremony there too and that worked out great. I didnt need limos and it was still beautiful.

The bar in Desmonds stayed open until like 3:30 am for us so we really enjoyed the afterparty.

We had over 30 rooms booked at the Inn. Im a little disappointed they didnt throw in anything for us having more than half of the hotel booked. Even comping me & DH for the breakfast buffet or something would have been a nice gesture. I know they operate separately from the actual EW so its not the sales office's fault.

ANyway,

Ill post more info and try to answer any other questions you guys have.

Your Maitre D's are awesome. They take care of everything you need and keep you informed throughout the night so you can sit back and enjoy.

Kim
