East Wind Brides

I'm beginning to get nervous that the Northhampton room isnt big enough for my guests. Im having 220-240. Anyone have this amount at EastWind? Was is too crowded?

I'm also at the Estate, but I remember when we looked, they suggested that the Northhampton would be waaaaay too big for our reception b/c we're only having 150. If I remember correctly, the room is huge!

If you're really worried, why don't you meet with them and look at the room again?

I am not an East Wind Bride but my FSIL had her wedding there a year and a half ago and had about 200 guests. It was a little tight, but still comfortable.

oh man...thats making me more nervous...There really is nothing I can do though..They kept assuring me that it wouldnt be too tight...ugh!

We were having ours at Southampton, but felt like we would be too big for it, so we ended up booking the 'grand ballroom'...which was both North and Southampton rooms. We had to guarantee 300 to do so. Mike said that you can fit up to 280 in the rooms!! So you should be just fine!!!

I am in the North hampton room also. We are having between 200 and 225... I also thought at first that it would be too tight but then I saw it set up for 250 and it looked fine. They had a mix of both round and oval tables and the head tables were on the side of the dance floor... which is a good place for the brial party to be anyway.

I have a question for you... are you having a band or a DJ? If you are having a band where are you going to put them and where are you going to be? I think I want catty corner the band (to save dancefloor space) and maybe be in the other corner by the dance floor since I won't be sitting too much anyway.
