There was an official 05 East Wind thread a while back but it kinda went dead, so I decided to start a new one. I thought we could use this to keep in touch. There are 19 of us on here!

I am so excited about the signature drink too!!! Do you know if they will pass it around to our guests??? Or do the guests have to go to the bar??

Hi girls, I had a question about the cake. I know they do it through the Rolling Pin bakery. Have any of you contacted them? I would like to taste my cake before I serve it if you know what I mean.

I havent tasted the cake either...im a bit worried 2. I went there the other day and met the maitre d paul he seems really really cool....im so excited 5 DAYS!! ahhhh
oh yea my colors are green and white so i made my signature drink the Apple MArtini

I know the owner of the Rolling Pin (he used to be in the Fire Department with FH) and I've gotten cake and cookes etc from there MANY times (FH lives in Setauket and that is where the bakery is) everything I've ever had was delicious-so don't worry about the taste!!! He's a really nice guy though so I wouldn't hesitate to contact him about what you want-he can do pretty much anything!

A signature drink is a drink that you decide on and East Wind will pass it around to your guests and have a sign at the bar stating what the drink is...It could be any drink of your choice...Thats my understanding of it.

can anyone help...
I want a sig drink to represent two things we met at SHU where our univ. colors were redwhite and blue/black and our wedding is on 4th of july weekend....
soooo, i want to add a SMALL touch of red white and blue to the wedding....and i thought the sig drink would be perfect to do that...
MY FH says they dont layer drinks...but I remember being on a cruise and they had layered drinks...
anyone know if it is possible???? or have any other ideas....for drinks

someone found me a drink that is layered...however it is in a shot glass
1 part grenadine 1 part blue curacao 1 part light cream
Do you think East Wind would make them (for cocktail hour) since they have a no shot policy???
Do you think they can put same drink in a glass and it will be the same type of layering???
Do you think the drink sounds like it tastes good?????

Just to let you girls know, I went to East Wind for the bridal showcase last night...I was told the chocolate fountain is $495.00 to rent and then $1.00 extra per person...Hope this helps you girls!!! It was the coolest thing and tasted great!!!!

OK girls...I have heard conflicting prices on the infamous chocolate fountain...I have heard it is $400 to rent and $1 extra per person...Then I have heard other prices...Does anyone know the exact price?? Thanks!!!
