Hey fellow East Wind brides!

There was an official 05 East Wind thread a while back but it kinda went dead, so I decided to start a new one. I thought we could use this to keep in touch. There are 19 of us on here!

So how is planning going?

Next showcase is April 21, anyone going? I have to go so I can taste the food. The next one will be too late for me.

Hi Ladies! You all have nothing to worry about. I plan to write my review very soon ( I am an Estate bride) - took a long honeymoon and then am now settling in to our apartment (overrun with boxes) - but you will have a WONDERFUL time. Wait, let me try to post pics. . . Ok! The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone RAVED about the food. Such a great time!!

Thanks! They're my BM's - not the proofs or anything - but I tried to pick pics that had a view of the room, so to speak. Anyway, you get the idea . . . Hope you have a wonderful wedding, too!

Hi girls...I heard that the Maitre D' at the Estate is no longer there and there is a new lady named Joyce...Has anyone met her or heard anything about her?

I liked Joyce a lot. She was on the ball, helpful, and right there whenever I needed her. She was a delight! (My sis works in event planning, and when she saw Joyce was the MD, she told me that was a very good thing. She knew her from other events she had done in the past.)

We had our RD at Mario's in East Setauket. I thought it would take too long to get there, but it actually did not. And, the food was great!
