East Wind Estate Information

So I have gone to see a few venues and have been in contact with various catering hall event management and I have found that East Wind's staff is AMAZING!! I have not received the attention anywhere else. The price for a Friday evening wedding in September she quoted us 143pp including tax and all fees. ( I can definitely get her to go lower upon booking). But does anyone know more about East Wind that can give me advice. I loved the venue at first sight!! (The estate part) I don't want to be to quick to book a venue but I can tell from my visits and discussions with halls the fall months are already booking up.

We looked there and the woman who helped us was SO nice. They're definitely big on customer service there. We ended up not booking there bevause it was too far from our church for a Friday when there would be hamptons traffic in August. Plus the price pp was just too high in the estate. Our prom was in the main house (Northampton/Southampton) and we didn't want our wedding where our prom was lol. But the food was great that night (granted that was like 7 years ago.. Yeesh!!!). I think if you love it, go for it!

I loved the estate, but it was too pricy for us and a little too far out. The room blocks are extremely expensive there if I believe and you may have trouble finding other hotels out there if you dont reserve them super far in advance

Also, one of my BM's looked there the other day and she said that you are unable to take pics there before your ceremony bc they are too busy to accommodate on site pics.

The Estate was my dream venue. Unfortunately I just couldn't afford it but if you can, go for it! It's beautiful there.

I was able to find a Best western and one other place about 10 minutes away that would do shuttles. New issue I just saw the option for inclement weather ceremony and HATE it!!!!

I got married at the estate this past summer! I can't say enough about how great it was! It was so beautiful. You can take pictures on-site, you have the whole estate to yourself. If you want any pictures let me know :)

Also I got married on a Friday in July and we hit zero traffic going out there around 4:30-5ish from the church from Islip. We blocked 25 rooms and it was great. I had an additional block at the Holiday Inn in Riverhead but wound up not using it. Hope this helps

Thank you!! That is very helpful. All the pictures I have seen of the venue are absolutely breathtaking. My fiance and I are going to see two other venues this weekend then we will be making a decision from there. So hopfully I will be able to put a venue check up in the next couple of weeks!!

I'm going to see east winds Saturday! I was more interested in the cottage but I think we maxed out their amount of people allowed. So far he was so super nice on the phone with me! I have 7 venues i'm seeing in the next week - oh boy im scared!

I went to a wedding at the Cottage at East Wind last night. I have to be honest with you the food made me sick, so my only recommendation to you is that you do a food tasting to make sure you like it. I had also gone to the bridal expo they had back in January and I didn't care for the food then. If food is a priority for you and your guests then just make sure you do a food tasting.

The Estate does seem nice though and Happy Planning. :)

Getting married at the East Wind in the veranda room. Love everything about the staff and place. I have tried the food and have only heard good reviews from friends and family who have also been there. I actually had my prom there as well and couldn't say enough about the place. There is a holiday inn and hotel indigo right by with cheaper rates Of you are not set on an exact date. They will most definitely work with you!
