East Wind...Estate vs. Northampton room??

Hi! I just joined so I'm a little new at this! My FH and I immediately fell in love with East Wind, it was one of the first places we looked at actually, but we're not sure which room/building to have our reception. We are torn between the Northampton room (own private entrance) or the Estate (more expensive, but totally separate building). Was just wondering if there are any East Wind brides on here that could give some advice in choosing the right room! We're so torn!!

East Wind...Estate vs. Northampton room??

We did t see the estate since it was out of our budget but we did see the north and Southampton rooms. Between those two we would have gone with Northampton but I wasn't thrilled with the look of the diving walls they put up between the rooms. But we did love the outdoor space. In the end, we decided we didn't want our wedding where our prom (it was even the same room) was and it was too Far East for us. I say if you can afford the estate, go for it. It's basically one wedding at a time and from pictures I've seen, it's beautiful!

East Wind...Estate vs. Northampton room??

the estate at east wind was my dream venue! I think it's beautiful but unfortunately the minimums were too high (we only want 100 guests) & it was over our budget. i was so disappointed. I think if you can afford the estate, there's really no competition between the 2.

East Wind...Estate vs. Northampton room??

Thank you all! I think I'm starting to lean more towards the estate, even though it is a bit more expensive. We are going to visit the venue again to get a third look haha!

When you go again, try to bring either your parents or a friend. A second set of eyes always helps. We brought our parents to see our final two and they pointed out things we never would have realized (good and bad) without them there.

Re: East Wind...Estate vs. Northampton room??

We brought out parents the second time around, and it actually did help a lot having a few more sets of eyes there to notice things that my FH and I didn't notice the first time around. We are going there for a third time on Tuesday and hopefully we will finally make a decision and set the date! I'm so excited!! ??

East Wind...Estate vs. Northampton room??

I got married at the Cottage, the Estate was waayy out of budget, but if I could have afforded it, I LOVED the Estate. Either way, you really can't go wrong. Everyone and everything at the East Wind is amazing!
