Re: East Wind, Swan Club, Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor, Giorgio's at Foxhill- help me decide!
unlike any of the other decisions I've had to make for this wedding, this one was the easiest! We went to go look at Giorgio's first and we both left with a great feeling! We should have booked the date we wanted at that moment because within 24 hours when we called back wanting to meet again to draw up a contract it was already booked for that day! So we made an appt for later that week with George Jr. to look into another day and went to see East Winds on that day as well (so we would have SOME basis for comparison with numbers, etc). I liked the East Winds Estate (even if it is a little ... green, lol, the cocktail hour room and outdoor space is nice). Prices were comprable but i felt you get more for your money at Giorgios. We went back and were able to book on another date which actually worked out better for us in the long run. I loved the views and being able to take pics on the beach was a huge ++++ for me because I always wanted to get married on a beach but mom wants the church so she got it, but I still get pics on the beach! Also a pretty gardens and golf course and if it does pour (which I am totally expecting), they have completely revamped the lobby and staircase and its beautiful. The food is delish (went to two tastings already) and the attention (only one wedding at a time) is wonderful. Good luck!

I looked into East Wind, Westbury Manor and Giorgio.sI actually liked all 3, but Gioergio's stood out for a few reasons.
1. They only do one wedding at a time. This was really important to me. East Wind offers different locations, so you likely wont see another bride. My concern was that the food would be mass produced. Not sure if that is true b/c they get really good food reviews, but I've gotten much better comments about Giorgio's food.
2. You work directly with the owners of Giorgio's. This is a major plus b/c you know the people you are working with 100% care about the reputation of the venue. They are great to work with, as well. I went in so many times prior to booking -- sometimes without an appointment and they always made me feel welcome and took the time to answer questions.
3. Giorgio's has a huge cocktail hour area. I ruled our Westbury Manor b/c they couldnt seat all 225 guests at the cocktail hour. I didnt want people standing and unable to eat.
4. The grounds are amazing. You get the golf course on one side -- beach on the other. Photo opps are ample. I also like that it's in a remote area-- very quiet and makes for a good weekend away for some of my guests.
FM me if you have any questions. Giorgio's ended up being a bit more expensive, but I think they are worth every penny and they offer alot for the money

The westbury manor was absolutely gorgeous but the room size was either very large or very small and we were kind of in the middle so it wouldn't work. The fox hollow was also beautiful and having the hotel next door is a HUGE plus. We went with the swan club because we loved the in garden feel and the size of the rooms worked with our wedding size. The food was awesome as well!! GL :)

Giorgio's is AMAZING! We had our wedding there and it was fantastic. We didn't have our ceremony there, but I assure you the grounds are beautiful. Our guests are still raving about the food! You will not be disappointed. The service, I haven't seen better. Our MD and BA were extremely efficient. FM if you have any other questions
