Eastern Suffolk Girls...

I am looking for a place to hold my rehersal dinner, somewhere in the middle between the two hotels our gusts are staying at (Inn at East Wind and Holiday Inn Express in Riverhead). Yesterday my FH and I found a place that looked very nice and cozy. I was wondering if anyone has anything to say (good or bad) about Village Crossroads Restaurant (on Rte. 25 in Calverton). TIA!

There food is good and they were a bit pricey but they have come down because of all the other restaurants opening in this area.
Good choice IMO

Try the Cooperidge, it's also in Riverhead. My family and I haven't had a bad meal there yet. I think they have also built on to it, a catering hall, etc.

I would check them out!

What about desmonds at the East wind??? I know they offer a ridiculous price for EW brides who have their rehearsal dinner with them? Like 20 per head or something???

Stonewalls at the Cherry Creek golfcourse in Riverhead. I eat there all the time with my grandparents and it's really nice plus their prices are amazing. I've never been disapointed with their food.

My office had our christmas party at Stonewalls this year. The food was soooo good!! The prices were not expensive at all. Last year we went to the cooperidge. That place is really nice too. I thought the food at Stonewalls was better though!

There are some beautiful resturants in Port Jefferson. It's also a beautiful area in June.
