Eating at your OWN wedding?? Think again!! lol

Before my wedding day, I said I was going to eat and eat after all of the money we paid.... well that didnt happen.

Cocktail hour I couldnt eat bc my nerves were still out of wack!!! DH was able to eat though lol

During the wedding reception I FINALLY got my appetite back but I barely ate, bc everytime DH and I sat down to eat... we had to get up to do something while everyone else was eating lol

The only reason I even got to taste our wedding cake was because we fed it to each other.... but I didnt get to eat anything else.....

Its true what they say- you really dont eat at your own wedding and trust meeeeeee I was like the 1st person who said 'I WILL EAT ON MY WEDDING DAY!!!' lol

How many of you ladies were able to enjoy your food???

Aww! Sorry you didn't get to enjoy your incredible food.

I definitely ATE!!! They extended our CH by a half hour and put us in the bridal suite with a feast of CH food!!!! It was amazing. They told us that if we didn't eat up there then, we'd never get to eat. Surprisingly, we made 5 minutes to sit down and enjoy our main course and they let us enjoy the dessert after the last dance. I looooooved our food!!!!!

Nope!

I had like two bites of shrimp and lobster from a plate brought up to the bridal suite. I wanted to say hello to everyone during dinner so I ate a TINY piece of chicken and some potatoes. And I had 1 bite of wedding cake and 1 chocolate strawberry.

I have the worst stomach in the world, and of course, I got sick to my stomach on my wedding night!!! It's all waaaaay TMI so I'll just leave it at that. I basically didn't eat one bite or have one alcoholic drink! The few bites I did have were sooo good, and the Royalton packed up our bridal table entrees for us which we had as leftovers the next night. We had a huge spread left over! We asked to be served one of each entree at our sweetheart table, and we hardly touched them, so we got everything the next night. Yum yum! I wish I had that lobster risotto again!!! MMMM!!!! However we really didn't get ANY ch food at all! So I will say that I cannot wait for KerrijohnS wedding so I can eat more Royalton food, especially ch food! And we are having the same cake, red velvet, mmmmmm CANNOT WAIT!!! Ladies, if you have an appetite and a RH that will set you up, EAT!! PLEASE!! FOR ME!!! I was SO sad that I didn't get to drink any bellinis or eat food at my wedding.

Hahaha YAY!! We will make it an OPERATION FEEL ALLEGRA day!!!!!

Edit to say that should have read OPERATION FEED ALLEGRA.... and instead of fixing it... I'm leaving the feel because it's too funny to remove!!!!!

we ate!!!!

our bridal attendant made sure to pull us away for a little time to eat each course.. i was sooo happy she did that!

I didn't really eat much at CH we were socializing. DH ate b/c my mom kept bringing him food on a stick We did get to eat at the reception. Our bridal attendant asked us what we wanted and made sure we had plenty of food. There was no way DH wasn't going to eat, so I lucked out there I guess. We also got to eat our cake. I was starving by the time of our reception. All I had in the morning was some cereal, and then the photographer made me eat some almonds b/c I looked like I was going to pass out from nerves. DH ate chicken nuggets from wendy's b4 the CH b/c my aunt stopped on the way to the RH to get the ring boys some lol. I don't know how he does not weigh 800 lbs.

HA! I am in the same boat as you! I said that I was going to stuff my face. I was able to take a few bites at cocktail hour, but only b/c my bridal attendant made a plate for me while we were talking to guests. She had me sit down for 2 minutes to eat...then it was back up again to socialize. At the reception, same thing. Every time I went to go put a forkful of food in my mouth, someone would come up to us and I'd have to put it down. I ate enough, but didn't get to really enjoy it. Vienesse hour was my favorite!!!! People were more interested in the wide display of sweets that they didn't really care to talk to us, so we got to stuff our faces! :)

I have a bad stomach too. But if I eat some bread type food, I am OK. So In plan to eat a bagel at breakfast and then at CH. I am not missing food at CH. That is my fav food! I probably wont eat at dinner. Esp b/c my second dress is not forgiving to my belly area lol
We may have an after party and I suspect I will eat then!

We stuffed our faces for the 10 min. in the bridal suite, missed cocktail hour and then ate so fast at dinner- but it didn't work so well because if my nerves and having to talk to everyone....our hall gave us each all 3 entrees and wrapped them up for us AND they wrapped up all the hot chaffing dishes for us to take home! We ate a lot more the day afte the wedding, and my parents finished it up when we left for the HM.

We ate, lol. People brought me things from the cocktail hour and we ate during dinner. The only thing was, everything I got up to speak to someone, I would come back and my six year old niece would be eating my food, lol!

ITA!!!!!!!!! I said 1000 times I was going to eat... But there was zero time for that! I had the bite of wedding cake we fed to each other. A bite of my cousins hot dog. A little sample of Bananas Foster and only b/c my BM Eric brought it over to me b/c he knew its my fav! DH and I sat down for 5 minutes trying to eat our cold food. I got 2 bites of steak and some rice down before being called away again

oh I made sure I eat! I had a little CH food before the ceromony After the ceremony I had CH food (from the hot plates), I made sure to eat at least 2 bites of the dinner and some of my salad and cake and had a like 5 different pieces of the chocolate fountain (well this was more because my BMs where drunk and kept feeding me because they thought it was yummy lol)

i agree... whatever food i did have just wasnt going down easily... you are just soo hyped up its unreal... that whole day felt like a fantasy right?

but lemme tell you... we had a little after party and i was able to stuff my face with some micky d's then!!!!!

There's no way I'm not eating...mostly because if I don't eat I'll pass out and I am NOT passing out on my wedding day!!!

If people want to talk to me during dinner they can pull up a chair to my sweetheart table while I stuff my face.

we SWORE we would eat - we even set aside 30 mins to be alone after the ceremony in the bridal suite with food so we could eat alone in peace......but we were so excited we could barely get anything down i remember eating a lot of shrimp cocktail and that is it LMAO! we were just talking and kissing and saying we couldnt believe we were finally married - it was so surreal and we just weren't hungry, it's almost like we had zero appetite.....

VH same thing - we had 1 bite of cake when we fed eachother and we had a chocolate covered strawberry LMAO.....
