Before my wedding day, I said I was going to eat and eat after all of the money we paid.... well that didnt happen.
Cocktail hour I couldnt eat bc my nerves were still out of wack!!! DH was able to eat though lol
During the wedding reception I FINALLY got my appetite back but I barely ate, bc everytime DH and I sat down to eat... we had to get up to do something while everyone else was eating lol
The only reason I even got to taste our wedding cake was because we fed it to each other.... but I didnt get to eat anything else.....
Its true what they say- you really dont eat at your own wedding and trust meeeeeee I was like the 1st person who said 'I WILL EAT ON MY WEDDING DAY!!!' lol
How many of you ladies were able to enjoy your food???

Ugh, that stinks!!!!! I'm so looking forward to our food, and I fear the same will happen to us...only saving grace possibly is that we're having a small guest list, so not TOOOOOO many people going to be pulling at us.
But whatevs, I didn't eat at the last wedding I went to either, so I'm used to it

not me! I wanted to eat sooooo bad too, but my nerves couldn't handle it! I think I had a piece of zucchini and 3 bites of the steak. Good thing I ate a bagel that morning! Apparently the food was really good though, from what I hear.

That's too bad I made sure to eat eat eat - at the CH and during the reception. There is no getting food by me. People were coming up to our dais while I was eating to chat Hey, I said my hellos and thank yous at the CH to make sure I got that done!

The cocktail hour was the worst of all..... DH and I went in there with the intentions of actually sitting and eating!!!
I didnt even get the look around the room!!! Im not joking!!! I was sooooooooo happy to get online proofs from our photographer who was able to take pics of the room and food.
You get pulled here to there, but in a good way from people who are so excited for you and we got a lot of our hellos out of the way- but it was exhausting! I thought we were going to relax lol

we ate! We ate a ton of the cocktail hour food before were introduce in our bridal suite...we spent most of the CH saying our hellos so we had a few minutes before we went into the reception to eat like gavones! We had dinner (or as much as our bellies would handle since we were so nervous/excited!)

Not me! I had forgotten to eat most of the day so between that and the corsette that was hooked waaaay too tight even looking at food was making me sick. I get so mad even looking at the yummy food from thje coctail hour, especially the slider station with the mac and cheese. Thankfully Flowerfield packed us 2 of every entree to try so we didn't totally miss out. When I see the pro pics of all the food I just get mad and jealous lol.

I ate the whole appetizer and enjoyed part of an entree. And ate some of my wedding cake. Not to bad. Also at Lands End they had a tray of hor d' ouerves and a server just for Jason and I, they went from me to him to me to him to refill and back to me. I feel like I ate plenty.

I did not eat at CH but they put some stuff aside for us and we ate quickly while folks were getting seated and we were waiting to be announced and I have to say we both ate our whole meals. . or eat least part of each course. . we had a sweetheart table so I ate then jumped up and went around to mingle but we def ate and it was soooooo good
and I saw FH CLEANED his plate!!
dessert we didn't get to but I think most people didnt that's why I'm happy I had cake to take home bc it was to die for!!!

I ate SO MUCH that day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry gals, you can do it!!!
Have your maitre d' make you guys plates, and steal away during CH to eat by yourselves for about 10 minutes. We did that and it worked out great!
We found lots of time to eat. I think it's because we're not big dancers. Our wedding was WAY more about the food than about the dancing! (Which I wish my DJs understood and didn't keep blasting the music... yet another thing for my review which is getting closer, I promise...)

Nope, had like nothing! just some bites here and there... didnt even have 1 full alcoholic drink either... lol... its sooo crazy... that day is wonderful and all but theres nothing like being a guest ajnd getting to enjoy all of that!!!!

oh i DEF did not drink at all. . was worried before hand that I would drink too much but seriously I had a few sips during toasts and a few sips during dinner but thats all. . .I wish they had given us WINE to go!!

I have the worst stomach in the world, and of course, I got sick to my stomach on my wedding night!!! It's all waaaaay TMI so I'll just leave it at that. I basically didn't eat one bite or have one alcoholic drink! The few bites I did have were sooo good, and the Royalton packed up our bridal table entrees for us which we had as leftovers the next night. We had a huge spread left over! We asked to be served one of each entree at our sweetheart table, and we hardly touched them, so we got everything the next night. Yum yum! I wish I had that lobster risotto again!!! MMMM!!!! However we really didn't get ANY ch food at all! So I will say that I cannot wait for KerrijohnS wedding so I can eat more Royalton food, especially ch food! And we are having the same cake, red velvet, mmmmmm CANNOT WAIT!!! Ladies, if you have an appetite and a RH that will set you up, EAT!! PLEASE!! FOR ME!!! I was SO sad that I didn't get to drink any bellinis or eat food at my wedding.

I didnt get to eat. DH did. He had 3 pieces of cake and I only had a bite. We planned it so we could go to the CH and we were able but I was so overwhelmed by people that I needed some time to ourselves. We were able to eat some CH food in the Bridal Suite and then for dinner I took a few bites but started feeling queezy from the long day....
I am counting the days til I can eat our cake......I dont care if it has freezer burn!!!!!!!

I did!!!! My fat a$$ enjoyed EVERYTHING lol. That food was too good not to eat...and we still got around to dancing, pictures, and saying hello to everyone.

Me too!!!!!! I only had that one little piece of cake that DH fed me!! Its going to be hard for me to wait a whole year!! lol
