Eating at your OWN wedding?? Think again!! lol

Before my wedding day, I said I was going to eat and eat after all of the money we paid.... well that didnt happen.

Cocktail hour I couldnt eat bc my nerves were still out of wack!!! DH was able to eat though lol

During the wedding reception I FINALLY got my appetite back but I barely ate, bc everytime DH and I sat down to eat... we had to get up to do something while everyone else was eating lol

The only reason I even got to taste our wedding cake was because we fed it to each other.... but I didnt get to eat anything else.....

Its true what they say- you really dont eat at your own wedding and trust meeeeeee I was like the 1st person who said 'I WILL EAT ON MY WEDDING DAY!!!' lol

How many of you ladies were able to enjoy your food???

We definitely had a lot of opportunities to eat, but my nerves and all the adrenaline from the excitement wouldn't let me!

Same here! I didnt really eat at CH which I was dead set on doing. It wasnt because of time or anything, my stomach was in a knot! I did eat my dinner which was delic! I told DH next time Villa Lombardi's has a showcase we are going so I can eat the CH food I missed at our wedding!

This is why I am amking it a point to spend my CH in the bridal suite relaxing and eating. I can't pass up on food!!!!!!!!!!

we said the same thing.... but something you dont take into acct is that you might be one of the girls here (like myself) who was just too excited to eat.... sounds crazy now but it happens... we spent some time in our suite but we really just wanted to mingle with everyone instead

They also did this for us, but I just couldnt eat... my nerves just wouldnt let me. I wanted to eat so bad, but felt like I couldnt keep anything down.... DH on the other hand cleaned up his plate at the CH

Thats EXACTLYYYY what it was.... everytime I took a bite, I felt like I was going to throw up lol!!! I am sooooo mad that I couldnt eat

I ate like a maniac!!! At the CH my bridal attendant made a plate for me which was great but I didn't get a fajita which I was upset about... Then at dinner I ate firsts and seconds so I could barely eat anything from my VH... I really think my only wedding regret is that I missed out on a lot of amazing desserts!

I made sure to eat too! We had our own private table to go to during cocktail hour, where they brought us every type of food that was offered. Then for dinner, I sat down as soon as our dinners came out and ate.

I have the worst stomach in the world, and of course, I got sick to my stomach on my wedding night!!! It's all waaaaay TMI so I'll just leave it at that. I basically didn't eat one bite or have one alcoholic drink! The few bites I did have were sooo good, and the Royalton packed up our bridal table entrees for us which we had as leftovers the next night. We had a huge spread left over! We asked to be served one of each entree at our sweetheart table, and we hardly touched them, so we got everything the next night. Yum yum! I wish I had that lobster risotto again!!! MMMM!!!! However we really didn't get ANY ch food at all! So I will say that I cannot wait for KerrijohnS wedding so I can eat more Royalton food, especially ch food! And we are having the same cake, red velvet, mmmmmm CANNOT WAIT!!! Ladies, if you have an appetite and a RH that will set you up, EAT!! PLEASE!! FOR ME!!! I was SO sad that I didn't get to drink any bellinis or eat food at my wedding.

Hahaha YAY!! We will make it an OPERATION FEEL ALLEGRA day!!!!!

Edit to say that should have read OPERATION FEED ALLEGRA.... and instead of fixing it... I'm leaving the feel because it's too funny to remove!!!!!
