so i bought a tiara off ebay and finally got it in the mail on tuesday. it is absolutely beautiful - but when i put it on w/ my dress - it doesnt match!! it takes away from the detail on the dress - so needless to say i was disapointed.
so i contacted the seller - who has an ebay store - and says they will not refund my money (which is fine) but will echange the product. but i have to return it to them pay the s/h and a 20% restocking fee. whats the deal w/ that?
so - to all the girls who bought stuff off ebay that they were unhappy with - what did you do with what you bought after? should i just pay this restocking fee?or should i try to sell it myself??
need advice...

Re: ebay brides...
each Ebay seller has their own return policies, they are not universal.
I would resell the tiara, if I were you.

Post a picture here. You might be able to sell it to one of us.

here is a pic of it....i may try yo resell it myself - though i never sold b4 on ebay. is it hard? what do i have to do? would i be better putting it on craigslist??
Tricia-it really doesn't match? It looks like it is perfect for your dress. I think the girls are right-try to sellit on here post on 07board.

the gold tone is too gold for the dress.
it takes away from the detail on the dress. cause it draws your eye to the tiara versus the dress. not what i was really going for. but it looks like it would be perfect!!

What I have done is just resell. You could be lucky and get an even higher price than you paid for it. Also if you find another one you might pay even less for it so you could end up saving in the long run.
