Please tell me if this wording is okay.
(it's a theme invite)
Names and addresses have been changed to protect the innocent lol

Please Give Suggestions Or Alternative Text related to the theme of this invitation.
If you think I should just do standard invite wording, i appreciate your opinion but it's not happening.

I figure people will see 'fourth hour' and get that it means 4 o'clock even if they don't know what eventide is...

hehe your marrying johnny depp! so jealous! i think its cute wording- i know you explained the eventide thing- but do you think your guests will understand? other than that i think its great!

i'm not sure if they will understand the word itself...
but i figure most people will look at it and look for a time... hopefully the fourth hour will be enough...

unless there is a cool word for afternoon that will fit?

I agree! Also, I got the message of eventide, (sounds like evening haha) but idk if everyone will...I would leave it--if they are confused, they can ask someone!

The periods just don't look right to me. And should two thousand eight be capitalized?

That is exactly the stuff i need help with.
I copied it from the sample invite...but that doesnt make it right.

Help!

Oh man, I wish Ant n Tilde would look at this post - she had us proofread her invites...

And I know the 2008 bit has been discussed a gazillion times...

I would just lose the periods altogether, I don't think I've ever seen a wedding invite with them...

I am trying to search on the capitalization part..

What do your invites look like? Can you post a pic of them too please? I'm just curious! And what kind of font are you using? Some cool medieval-type font?

Anyway, she had Two thousand and seven, so maybe it should be 'Two thousand and eight'?

The only thing i KNOW for a fact is 'right' is Two thousand eight

lol my college professor ripped me a new one about that a few years ago. It's the one thing i won't mess up with haha.
I don't think it matters if someone else does it another way though, it just matters for me.

This is my invite. But with black font. And we're mounting it in a pocket fold.
