Editorial Post regarding In & Out Travel (They aren't monsters)

In the past few weeks I’ve posted my experiences with In & Out Travel and the resulting incidents that occurred during my honeymoon. It goes without saying I was unhappy.

At the present I feel it is necessary to set a few things straight:

1. I will NOT rescind my comments regarding my complete disappointment in their handling of our hotel situation (we were in the wrong hotel) because this was really very hard on us. Being left for hours to figure out how to fix it. I feel justified in my statements.
2. I will however clearly (I hope) and thoroughly say, WE CHOSE to drive back from Orlando. We were by no means stranded in Orlando because of In & Out travel. We did NOT however, have round trip tickets. We did find this strange, but as I have recently been told, perhaps it’s because we booked too early? *shrug* I still have doubts since I think this should have been something easily resolved. I’ll leave you each to make your OWN decisions on that.
3. Universal Tickets: Since I have no documented proof that I had ‘ok’ed’ In & Out travel to secure our tickets to the one and ONLY park we wanted to visit while being in Orlando, I will just say that it’s a SHAME that this detail wasn’t pushed harder on us. Such as, “Hey Veronica, I know Jim REALLY wanted that spider man ride, you realize you still don’t have tickets?” or even “I know you said you were going to look into Triple A discounts, did that work out?”. And mostly I would have preferred this in writing (but hind sight is 20/20 though).
4. I honestly do not feel that they (In & Out Travel) went out of their way to make our honeymoon a disaster. I do feel slighted and somewhat deserted while I was there, but mostly that was the hotel situation. I will go so far as to say we are probably that ‘one off’ situation (i hope) that sometimes occurs and the whole reason for booking with them was based on rave reviews here on LIW.

I’ll finish with saying this. Choose your Vendors CAREFULLY! Don’t just buy into the hype or gripe of a post here. Get EVERYTHING in writing as much as possible, don’t TRUST anyone to just ‘take care of it’ for you .

One more thing. Slander is the False AND Malicious statements injurious to another’s reputation. The only true defense to Slander is the truth, so choose your words wisely these are people’s livelihoods and businesses.

With that all I can say is..

‘My luck’ *shrug* Better luck next time, wish you well, FM if you want clarification don’t assume my words mean anything, there are no monsters on LIW, just those who go ‘bump’ in the night (J/K).

Peace, love and all that Jazz
Ronie
