Eeeeeeh I Bought Wicked Tickets

I just spent a good amount of money for 2 center seats in the second row for ochestra to see Wicked again. I wanted to see it before the one lead actress leaves. But now I feel really guilty for spending so much money. At least I'm not going to dig into my wedding fund to pay for it though.

Kristin Chenowith leaves July 18. I really don't think it's a big deal to not see it when they're not there, but since I saw it with them the first time, I want to see it again with them in it.

I'm a little upset though. Row CC is the second row. Now I realized that may be too close. Like I won't get a total view of the stage being so close. It'll be like sitting the first row in a movie theater where you're cranking your neck up. This makes me sad when I think about the money I spent.

I read the book. Let's just say the musical is very loosely based on the book.

My brother saw it w/ a stand in & he said she was amazing. He said if she's this great I can't even imagine how great the star is.

I've seen it twice - once with Kristen, Idina Menzel and Joel Gray and once with Idina Menzel and two stand ins. IMO she's the best part of the show. The stand in for Kristen didn't seem very different from her. The guy who stood in for Joel Gray wasn't as good, but Idina completely steals the show. I was so happy she won the Tony. She totally deserved it.

She leaves in August, not sure of the exact date.

No, she leaves July 18. Same day as the actor who plays Fiyero leaves. I read the article saying this, and it says this all over E-bay. Everyone's trying to get tickets before then.

I didn't know KC was leaving, I'd better get tickets. I'm dying to finally see Wicked. I LOVE Kristen Chenoweth. There's nothing like her. I remember Adina from RENT back in the day, before all of the random boy band stars took over the cast...:-P
