EEERRR FH and the HM

Ok now he doesnt want to book Aruba just yet . He wants to keep looking alittle more.... he's not the one doing all the looking!!! Im looking and then he is checking out what I have to show him. MEN!!! So now I am back searching for places.
Girls can you please tell me where you are going for your HM? It will be a big help.

You have FM

Sandals Grande in St. Lucia! We liked it bc it had a lot of the same things as Hawaii (volcanos, rainforests, all that stuff) just much cheaper.

I havent even gotten to the HM part, but the times FH and I have 'planned' a trip, I've always been the one doing all the legwork. So I dont think its abnormal.

I think some guys are just like that. So I say, go and plan away and he has no choice. j/k I usualy just keep harassing FH about places and he gives in

ahhh i had ALOT of trouble with my HM too and did so much research.

What i would do is focus on the type of HM your dh wants. Does he want beachy place that is very laid back and more relaxed and quiet? or does he want activities, lots of restaurants to choose from, maybe even a casino as a requirement. Figure this out first, bc seeing so many options will just drive you crazy, i know lol.

For example dh isnt a beach person, infact he HATES it. We wanted things to do at night as well with lots of restaurant choices, he wanted a casino we can go to. Then also what i wanted to, i like going somewhere you experience a different culture, i am also not a big beach person, place i can also visit historical stuff. And let me say that i posted on LIW and said ok this is what im looking for, not a beachy place, lots to do at night and gave alot of details and i had a ton of girls suggest spain to me, which i am so thankful for bc it was exactly what we wanted and had the best time. Originally was going to do capri and monaco but dh didnt want to do capri lol and this was after it was decided for a long time, and then after i changed it to barcelona and monaco. After i realized how it was the perfect HM for us.

well you know where were going, disney, but have you considered their cruises? They're awesome and have alot of differnet spots to visit...

we may also do greece next year...

He sounds like my FH! I still hav enot booked and I am less than 100 days away! The stress this causes me is like UGHHHHHHH... I am just saying I know how you feel! Its like what do they want to 'look' for.... you and I both know they are not doing any 'looking'... you and i are!!!

We are in the process of booking though, my aunt is a travel agent and she has been looking for me for the past week for things bc I finally just told FH, ' Listen, I have waited and you have done nothing about this, so now I am.' So last weekend I spoke to her and she called me back yesterday with some ideas. Here is the thing... she told me that she wishes I started earlier bc people dont book honeymoons in a day or a week.... most of the time it takes close to a month to shop around and make decisions and get the best deals...its a long process...

What is FH not happy about? Aruba? is it the specific hotels( which by the way are both BEAUTIFUL!!) ...whats his beef?

I am sorry he is being a PITA with this... I totally know your pain

ahhh dont stress, i booked my HM 2 months before the wedding. I did do alot of research the months before and we FINALLY had narrowed it down about 3 months before about, and then finding a place to give us the best deal. I also couldnt do it far in advance bc hotel rates for europe dont come out far in advance and end of 07 they still werent out. A bunch of other 08'ers who were getting married around same time as me had to wait too.

It will all work out dont worry. Dont just focus on nice places, focus on places that suit your needs and wants, this way you will eliminate a ton of places right away.

we r going to the El Dorado Royale Spa Resort in The Rivier Maya. We have friends that stayed there before and it has won many awards for being the perfect honeymoon resort. FM me if u want pricing info or any other info about it!! It was extremely Reasonably priced!!!!!!
