I know some people are against these types of songs... But i love it... my fave is the electric slide. It will definitely be at the wedding!

the wedding i just went to did YMCA and electric slide at the end of the night, when only the fun people were left and we we all had enjoyed the open bar

if you're going to do them, id say leave them for the end

i was dead set against this. my mom and moh tried to gang up on me saying it wasnt a wedding without it. i held firm and said no. on the day of the wedding, i got so many requests for it, i gave up and told the DJ to play it. guess what? the floor was never so packed. people loved it. my brother who told me he would disown me if i played it was the one was the most into it! i have to eat my words - a lot of people enjoyed it and the DJ played the original and then faded into the more updated version. after that i (almost) regretted not playing YMCA!

FH and I both dont really care for them but some people do!! So we put a bunch of these types of songs on our list as only play if requested!!

we did a couple of those songs, i am not a big fan of it, but i know a handful of our guest only dance to those songs, bc there not good dancers, and to be honest 90% of the people where drunk when they played it so our wedding video is completely funny and i love it, wouldnt have had it any other way

We are deft doing this at my wedding!!!! FH doesn't really know it...he knows some steps I think..he is gonna wing it he said!!!

I asked the DJ NOT to play these staged songs. Someone requested the YMCA and the MC asked me if it was OK...I thought tha twas really nice of him!

I said absolutely no 'organized' dancing at my wedding. Im sorry i just think it reminds me of a sweet sixteen or something. JMO!!!!

We had the dj have everybody do the electric slide to Sexy Back. It has a good beat to do it too, and we all had so much fun!!

I personally think it's cheesy but the wedding I went to 2 weeks ago had the dance floor PACKED only twice. One for electric slide and the other for the chicken dance. Clearly, guests are into it!

Personally I love it!!!
My DJ played it and the dance floor was packed, some people who NEVER dance were even doing it, I think it was more packed for that than for any other song lol.
