I have thought about it. If the planning ever gets overwhelming, we may just go to city hall and get married without telling anyone. We will still do the reception and everything, but if we are already married, little issues will feel, well...little.

Every second counts for me. I was tempted to get married on my cruise that i just went to.

Yes I sometimes feel that way. My FI would love it if we just eloped. He doesn't want a big wedding just get married and have close family and friends celebrate with us at a nice restuarant.
I think about doing that and how we would save so much money but I think I would look back in years from now and regret it. I've always wanted a wedding.
But you are defintely not the only one.

I wanted to elope numerous time, but my fi always talks me out of it. He says I would regret it and deep down I know I would. I just want for us to be together. He's in England and I am here so we don't see each other much. I know when the time comes (and how quickly it goes by). There will be no regrets.

Yea, I've thought about it. But if we did elope and not tell anyone....how would that work out? We wouldnt be able to have a church wedding anyone with our family....right?!

my dad actually told us to elope & keep the money we are spending on the wedding for our house...I could not imagine looking back 10 years from now & regretting that I didn't have wedding reception & all...

I am!!! granted we have alot of other factors playing into why..but we are eloping in July and I am still having my BIG beautifyl princess wedding in OCT 06'!!
