Embaressing Family Members

Anyone have that family memeber that is embaressing at family functions? Even though you laugh it off and say that's just Crazy Aunt/Unlcel/Cousin. Do you think they'll be embaressing at your wedding?

For me it's my Aunt Lauren, she is my favorite aunt and the only 1 I speak to. But she has this thing where she believes she can sing!When she's had a fewin her, hhe belts out these songs.. All I can do is laugh give her a hug!

Now I gotta make sure the mic is hidden from her on my wedding day cause I know she will turn it into American Idol for Aunt Lauren. GOtta love her-

FH's Uncle has a raging drinking problem and decided to get drunk on the day of our Engagement Party and make a sexually inappropriate remark to me AT MY ENGAGEMENT PARTY There is not a second that goes by where he is not drinking, I have never seen him sober and with that as my preview: I can't wait until the wedding

Then I have a really cheap Aunt Joan who gave me and FH a $7.50 gift (it was a GIANT coffee cup that she called a planter). I returned it to the store and it retailed for $7.50 What can you do? If she had no money I would understand-- but they have more money than everyone I know combined... go figure

as for FH's family...his dad, and dad's GF. they are the WORSE. if things go the way i think...ther'es a good chance that they won't even come. (Fingers crossed)

I'll sum it up in a couple of words
FH's family = belligerant drunks. But they like to say they are 'partiers'. I'm sorry, but a party makes one think you are having fun, right? Does fun include bringing up every single thing someone did to wrong you in the past and discuss it everytime you have too many cocktails? They are good, actually great people, just bad drunks. We'll give them a test run at the e-party!

Ugh I have an Uncle who truly believes he is Frank Sinatra and I think he sings like...well its just not good. I want to even put it in my contract with the DJ that no one can sing at the wedding!!! He always insists on doing that at family parties....he's already made comments that I'm wrong for getting a DJ...probably just mad he can't join in with them. Grr families are so annoying!

For me, it's my mother...she is seriously a lunatic and I'm embarrassed everytime I go anywhere with her.

my sister has some 'issues' and my BMs are actually working up an 'interference' plan so that someone has her distracted at all times...kinda funny, but not so funny cause we may have to lock her in the birdal suite!!

I would be in all my glory if my gay uncle got up and sang 'the girl from ipanema'.. he finds ANY excuse to sing it.. and he totally sounds like a cheezy lounge singer, I would love it if he belted it out during dinner at my wedding!!!

My brother Darryl is obnoxious, loud and blatent. Not only that, he's balding and wears hats all the time. At my sisters wedding, he opened up his shirt and did a Travolta. But I didn't tell you, we're a family that loves the Grateful Dead. Talk about embaressing! Oh....he wasn't wearing a hat though
