Re: embossing
i thought that heat embossing is when you transfer an image and the 3-D bumps(for lack of a better word) onto something bt regular embossing is just the 3-D bump.... not sure though. I have an embosser - and it's just making a 3-d image onto something

Re: embossing
I am no expert on embossing but have tried both. Heat embossing is when you stamp an image on paper then pour embossing powder on top. Tap the powder off and heat it until the powder melts and creates a raised image. Regular embossing is when you use a metal stencil and put paper over it. Put both on a light box so you can see the stencil through the paper. Then you use an embossing tool to 'push' push the paper in the spaces on the stencil. Turn it over and you have your raised image. I hope that made sense.

thanks guys...I never knew embossing was so simple...I always thought it was done just the heat way...
