Then DEFINITELY call Land's End and Westbury Manor - Westbury Manor should be less then that and Land's End falls right in there and that's when it's not on such short notice. This close to the actualy date you're likely to get a good deal since if they aren't already book, the odds are against them that they'll have a wedding on that date!!!

Also, Crest Hollow Country Club does 3 weddings at a time so if that doesn't bother you, there is a def chance that they'll have space.

Ok my FH is telling me will cut the list...I really love the Snapper, its so perfect for us!! But where do you start?? What are the normal percent of people that do not show??

If I invite 195 do you think I can count on at least 15 not showing??

Try the North Ritz Club in Syosset.
Their ballroom can hold up to 300 people.

It's usual for 10% not to show.

Giorgios is booked up all Fridays and Saturdays for the rest of the year. We were offered the last Friday in September (we went in Sept. 06)

Just so you know!

Good Luck! Is your current RH going to penalize you for canceling with them? I would just try to cut it down a bit if you haven't sent out the invites.

This is what I was thinking.... You expect everyone to come to your wedding but the truth is, people have lives & make other plans. We had a LOT of people decline. We had something like 35% decline the invitation.

I would talk to you RH. I am sure they can fit another 10-15 people in somewhere. If you invite 220, I would bet $100 you have under 200 guests. T

Dont' freak out just yet. Call you RH and explain the situation to them.
