1. Rubbing alchohol on a cotton swab

2. Lotion on a napkin

3. Strange but in Greece they used to mix cigarrette ashes with a few drops of water apply then wip off. I've seen it work.

ETA: By no means am I suggesting # 3

I know this may sound weird, but I have heard that ashes help remove it. (somebody said it at work)

The first and last time I saw it was in Greece I was a little girl and remember the hairdresser telling my aunt to smoke a cigarette and ash in the tray. When I saw her apply it to my aunt's head I remember thinking to myself 'Old people are crazy!'.

I heard about it at work when the mailroom guy (who is kind of mentally slow) dyed his hair and got some on his face. My boss at the time saved her cigarette ashes for him.

Try it ! What do you have to lose?

I use rubbing alcohol when it happens to me. in the future, you may want to line your hairline with vaseline so the dye doesnt get on your skin
