ladies i just got engaged on august 11 and i would like to have an engagement party do you think its to soon being that iam getting married in 09? my fh is down for it he wants to do it by next month but i dont know if we should please any suggestions.

How late is too late for an engagement party? We just got engaged too and FH wants to wait until February to lose more weight for pictures (I've dragged him to WW with me). Would February be too late to celebrate an August engagement?
We got engaged in July and we are having our e-party in September.......
we got engaged in april and had it this month...i dont think there are too many rules on that! have fun!
I just had mine yesterday...i posted pics on this board...it isn't too soon because you got engaged recently and the party is to celebrate the engagement!!!
i got engaged in May and then we are having our eparty in sept. so that is ok to have it a couple after you get engaged.
I got engaged Oct. 28th and had my engagement party Feb. 10th.

yeah you should do it closer to your engagement because it is to celebrate your engagement i wouldnt wait that long mine is in 2 weeks and I got engaged in may and the only reason I waited 4 months was so that people would be back from thier vacations from the summer.
