Engagement Party Centerpieces

I am looking for ideas for engagement party centerpieces.. Any ideas?

I was thinking about submerging flowers with a floating candle?? But i dont know.. !! Please help!

I'm doing sunflowers to go with our Montauk theme...I bought all different size vases from Christmas Tree Shops, they were super cheap.. I just places my order today for the sunflowers from costco.com their prices are amazing!

I had a lunch time party for my engagement we had the oversized martini glasses and filled them with muchkins and cookies everyone loved them.

My engagement party was at the end of March so tulips were in season I bought small/medium sized round short vases from Michaels arts and crafts for $1 each I tied a deep purple ribbon around the rim and put 6 mixed color tulips in each vase. It was nice to do in season flowers because they were cheaper and tulips are very simple yet pretty.

I have pics in my album of CPs i made for my E party. I got fresh flowers and put them in wine bottles.
