We tried to keep it family and close close friends.. Just bridal party and other close friends that live on the island... Needless to say it didn't happen because my Mom and FMIL kept adding guests so now we have 150 people coming.

My advice, try to keep it small like you want! Make rules like, no second cousins, no one who lives out of state (unless its close family), no guests for single people, and maybe a set amount each side can invite otherwise it can easily spiral out of control. I am a little worried about it being too much like a wedding because it got so big so fast.

Lol I definitely don't think 150 is normal!! Over 300 will be at the wedding though so I guess that's my only saving grace here.. We are blessed with enormous families!

I think I would died if i have to plan a wedding for more than 300!!!!

I have to plan a wedding for 50 and u for mroe than 300!!!!

we had over 100 people. basically everyone who i'd invite to the wedding that is local.

our wedding guest count is at 219.

We are only having our immediate family members that live nearby (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, siblings, parents). Believe it or not, that's 60 people. We are going to have a much more informal party with our friends at a later date (and on a much lower budget - probably beer and pizza).

So I guess I can def. Just invite my family, my Fi's family... and Our BFF...

keep it small but fun :)

Since we dont have a Big budget we will only do a dinner perhpas in Mid march ...

Well... as Long as We are all togehter...
I can invite all the pople who are going to b invite into the wedding (or Bridal Shower) since that will b too much.... and We dont have that budget...
