Engagement party help!

I need help with location of Engagement Party.. FH and I really wanted to have it at Eisenhower Park.. cause it is outdoors and wanted it to be laid back and inexpensive.. we were super excited although my FH went to go get leisure pass yesterday and didnt like the area to much.. there were park benches and chairs set up already and just a pile of dirt. I guess he wanted it to be a little nicer maybe.. So now that idea is out the door.. is there any other Park or place outside even by the water that would be nice and inexpensive? We were tryin to think but couldnt come up with any good ideas , lol. TIA>.

Forest City Park in Wantagh its TOH so you would have to go through TOH Town Hall to reserve a spot. They book up fast, but they might have a cancellation or an open date. The number to town hall is 516-292-9000..give them a call and find out.
