Engagement Party Locations

Hi Ladies,

We got engaged on August 20th of last year but when we wanted to plan our engagement party for was around the same time we found out my mom had Cancer. She has undergone chemo and is about near the end of her treatments. Thankfully, all looks like it will be ok! We decided that we would like to plan our engagement party on the same date we got engaged last year. It happens to fall on a Saturday this year.

Our problem is that we would like to make it as stress free as possible so we no longer want to have it in our backyard. We decided we can have an after party for our friends back there but don't want to have 100+ people at the house. We are looking for a place in Suffolk County that can hold 100+ people. It can be a catering hall or someone that rents the space and we can cater. We would ideally like to keep it between $30-40, before tax and gratuity, but with some sort of alcohol included.

I love Captain Bills, we originally wanted this but they were crazy booked through the summer the dates we wanted/needed

Try vina de villa in medford. I went to an e-party there once and it was very nice for an e-party. I'm not sure of the exact price pp, but they have an entire wedding package (including DJ, flowers, photog, the whole shabang) for 100 people for less than 8k, so I am assuming if you cut it down from wedding to e-party and drop the extras it should be well within your budget!
