hello ladies, so almost a year after we have gotten engaged we are going to be having our engagement party. we got engaged in august but due to me being a teacher and in graduate school, we wanted to wait a bit. not to mention we have had 3 weddings since august!!

anyway, we are going to do our engagement party in june! we want to keep it small and simple and we are considering my back yard but are open to places where we can bring in food or cake.

I live in eastern suffolk - the selden/ ronkonkoma area and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to engagement party locations or places just to rent for a party!!!

Try the Pavallion on the Ronkonkoma Lake. Its really nice inside and the view is really pretty

There is a KOC just passed Windows On The Lake. I've been there for a baby shower and its realyl cute. There also have a big outdoor space with picnic tables where people can hang too.

the VFW in centereach is supposed to be really nice too. the one by the bowling alley.. FH sister had her wedding there like 10+ years ago (def a budget minded bride ) but she said they were great there and very affordable.
