I got engaged recently and am attempting to find places to throw an engagement party...any ideas?
There will only be about 50 people, and I was hoping to keep it in Nassau County.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Engagement Party venues...
My gf just had an egagement party at Villa Lombardis, amazing!! Food just kept on coming. I would check them out.
Also went to a backyard engagement party, the host hired a chef to BQ, and had salads, and drinks. It was fun, and the food was great. Only thing I would suggest a tent, in case it rains, I heard they can be a bit pricey.
Anyway, good luck!

Re: Engagement Party venues...
OK we just had our engagement party on the 9th of August in a restuarant in Long Beach called Monterey it used to be the old Corbin and Reynolds. It was beautiful and brand new not to mention that the head chef that is working there now is the winner of Hells Kitchen..The food was great the atmosphere is amazing. parking in long beach isnt easy but worth going there. lisa the banquet manager is just amazing the prices are average but i would say that this is someplace looking into

Amity Harbor Beach & Civic Association! It's in Amity Harbor but that's only like one town into Suffolk
