engagement pics

I am very excited! I am getting my engagement pictures on January 26th!

Now..... what do I wear? I hate figuring that out! (especially since I decided that I hate everything that I own)

...a snowsuit! We are doing a movie trailer for our save the dates (videographer works in same building as me and giving me an AMAZING deal) and we were going to do it in January, but from the look of what this winter is going to be like....we opted for spring and crossing our fingers that editing will be done shortly thereafter so we can send out at the year mark.

Are you doing them in a studio or going to give it a go outdoors?

We decided to do it in a studio. We got engaged in August. We did not want to do it right away and wanted to have some time to let it all set in. We are using the pics for the Save the Dates so we needed to do them in the early part of the year!

Yeah I was thinking of getting a red dress! (although the colors of the wedding are blue!)

How exciting! I wouldn't worry about the colors of the wedding, because these are different! And you'll have these photos for awhile too! Wear somethign you feel good in, I think a red dress is great!

When I was just home I know I saw a lot of cute dresses and sweater dresses at Express, I wanted to buy them all but had to tell myself that I don't need dresses here!

i got mine done at target and I wear a nice shirt and so did he we got them done a week after we got engaged in September because I was on vacation from work so we wanted to get it done while I had the nights free for a week.

check out V i c t o r ia Se c r e t catalog, they def have nice dresses that are cute.....your theme is blue and orange right?
also...you should as the photographer if the background is going to be straight black/brown etc....so this way you dont clash at all.....do you know what kind of poses you like? (i know the photographer should direct you) but make sure you do one kissing LOL

There are a few different areas in the studio which we can pick from. I am excited to do them because with Patken from the engagement session they assign you a photographer for the wedding. If you did not have the pictures with your photographer for the wedding you can redo them so you get to know your actual photographer!

Our colors are blue and orange.

Congrats on the engagement photos! I need to get set up to do mine too for the save the dates but we are on a wedding planning hiatus until January 2nd because I'm a little overwhelmed. I think you should wear whatever you feel good in... special pictures you're going to have forever.

Oh... and boo on the Mets colors!!
