We were together for a little over 5 years. Before we got engaged we talked about it casually but i had no idea he was going to do it when he did. I thought it would have been in another year or so. He picked out the ring all by himself and it is beautiful. Much better than i actually would have picked out myself.

. As far as the center stone, we went together. I know MUCH more about diamonds than he does, and I actually wanted smaller than he thought I would - more $$$ to save for the wedding.
