Re: english bulldogs

I have one! She's 11 months old now.

She is playful and very good with my son (who's 5) but she's not OVERLY playful. As fo training, I wouldn't say she's been easy to train. She is just NOW 95% housebroken, and still chews every now and then. She sheds alittle, but not too much. I've heard that people have had problems with their wrinkles getting infected, especially in their face, but I haven't had any problem with that. She enjoys baths, but NOT getting her nails clipped.
The breed is very sensitive to heat, and need to be in air conditioning once the temp hits 80 degrees.
I would recommend the breed, but would NOT recommend where we got her (Canine Corral in Huntington). The only reason we went there is because they breed the English Bulldogs, but I'd definately recommend a private breeder. They are also VERY expensive.
Let me know what you decide, or if you have anymore questions!

does she chew furniture apart- like have you had to replace many things?

Re: english bulldogs

The only thing she's chewed is molding

If my son leaves a toy laying on the floor she's ALL over that, but I guess that's to be expected. It's a phase, and most puppies chew.
